Tiny House Floor Plan – 909 sq ft @ $23/sq ft finished

By WhoreChurch

OK, I drew up a plan for the main floor of the tiny house. This would be “livable,” but it is tight–especially the bathroom.

I you want to take a look at the plan, click on the thumbnail to see the full size plan.

Main Floor – 339 sq ft

Upper Floor – 340 sq ft

Basement – 230 sq ft

Total square footage: approx 909 sq ft

Total finished cost: approx $20,000

$/sq ft: $23.00

Looking at the plan I wonder if the kitchenette/bathroom section ought to be mirrored so the kitchenette is next to the stairs going up. This means when someone enters the house they only see a door on that short wall (leading to the bath) rather than the kitchenette.

The kitchenette would be more convenient to the upstairs as well as being more esthetically appealing.

have you thought about furniture layout at all?
if so I’d like to see it to make sence of it.

Yeah, I know this post is way old. :) But I’m wondering how you came up with your price? We’re looking to build a super small house, and we’d like to spend about $20,000 building it.
    Thanks!

Very cool layout here. I know what it’s like to live in a small space and as a gardener, had to get creative when I was in that small space to keep gardening year round.

As you’re utilizing so much in that small space, if there are any gardeners out there, they may also want to take advantage of building their own little mini greenhouse as well.

How do I get in touch with you WhoreChurch? I’m thinking about building some low income housing alternatives in my area. I would love to talk to you about this plan and any others that you think I could utilize. I’m hoping to build some houses that people can purchase and own. Thank you Rob. Rob(at)Wilson-rentals.com
